How to Play Silver Strike Bowling

In some areas, Sliver Strike bowling is taking the taverns by storm. People from all over the country compete to win prizes. To play Silver Strike bowling, you need some skill, but it is unlike bowling at a bowling alley or miniature bowling. Leagues have formed in many communities.       Apply for the Silver Strike ID card online or when you play the video game. You need to supply your name, address and social security number. There are step-by-step instructions to sign up through the video game. This can be done as soon as you put a dollar in the machine. A screen will appear asking you if you need to sign up for an ID card. The card will arrive in the mail within four weeks. Until the card arrives, every time you play, you will enter your name and social security number to have your score and red pin strike recorded.

      Registered users with Silver Strike will put one dollar in for a game of bowling. After inserting the dollar, a screen comes up asking you how many people will be playing. It costs one dollar for each person playing. Simply move the roller ball to the number of players and hit enter. The red button is the enter button.

      Select the type of bowling you will play. You can play regular bowling or Las Vegas bowling, which deals cards for each spare and strike. You might think of this as poker bowling. Simply move the roller ball up or down to select the type of game to play and hit the red "Enter" button.

      Screen shots of the page asking you to insert your Silver Strike ID card will come up for the first player. Insert your card and the system will bring up your standings and tell you how many entries you have in the prize drawing. The screen also tells your average for total games bowled. After viewing this screen, hit the red "Enter" button to continue.

      Select a gender by using the roller ball and moving it to the right gender and hit the red button.

      Select your ball weight by hitting the white button until you see the ball weight you want. This can be changed anytime during the game.

      Start the game. The roller ball will move the player from left to right and back. Line your player up. The control panel on the left side allows you to rotate how your player is standing. This control needs to be adjusted as you get used to the game. The reset button will place the player back to the start position.

      Move your hand over the roller ball bring it back towards you. To throw the ball, hit the roller ball moving it forward. The ball is in play. If a red pin is set as the head pin and you get a strike, you get points entered into the drawing for the prizes.

      Rotate players just as if playing an alley game. If only one player is playing, move onto the next frame.

Tips & Warnings

  • Some people hit the roller ball very hard. It does not need to be hit very hard to throw the ball.

  • Always take your time setting up the play for the red head pin to accumulate as many points as possible for the drawing.

  • Hitting the roller ball hard can cause injury.
