Whether you have recently perused your old high school yearbook or found forgotten love letters from your first boyfriend, at one time or another reuniting with old friends becomes a mission. How to Reunite Old Friendships

  1. Step 1

Search for them on Myspace. If you have lost track of your old friend, and you are under 30, chances are you’ll find them on Myspace or Facebook. Simply type in their name in the search area and see what happens! If you know what school they went to you can also check out the alumni pages to help you narrow the search.

  2. Step 2

Be a Gold member of classmates.com. Classmates.com was one of the first ventures that allowed members to reunite with friends from the past. Anyone can look through their class list and find out if your old friend has included some information here, but become a Gold member to email them and get the ball rolling!

  3. Step 3

Contact your alumni association or church. Most schools have websites and have an email listing for the alumni association. If you are looking for a fellow student you can email them and ask to be reconnected! Fun for you, and the person on the other end! Churches also have directories, so this is another place you may be able to reconnect.

  4. Step 4

Search for email address online. If you have totally lost track of your old friend try to find their email address online. Whitepage.com has a search for email address so try it out and see what you get!

  5. Step 5

Google them. Type your old friends name in the Google search engine and check out the results. Sometimes your old friend may have been mentioned in a local paper or is listed as a social club member. This type of information will give you a lot to work with in reuniting with your pal.

Tips & Warnings
  • Once you have found your old friend, email them, write them or give them a call. Suggest a short meeting over coffee to help break the ice and re establish the relationship and you are on your way!
  • Bring some old photos to reminisce over and begin a conversation.
  • If you don't receive a response after one or two emails, drop it. Your old friend doesn't seem to want to reconnect.
