Premature ejaculation happens to all men at one time or another. It's a perfectly normal part of the male sexual experience. Sometimes performance anxiety is the cause and simply learning to relax takes care of the problem. Men who are exploring their sexuality for the first time almost always experience a season of premature ejaculation. Usually time and experience takes care of the issue naturally. In the meantime, here are a few tips to help you prevent premature ejaculation and have a more satisfying sex life.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Desensitizing cream
  • Thick condoms

Step1
Increase the amount of foreplay. Use foreplay to stimulate your partner so that you can orgasm around the same time. Your mate should be very aroused before you engage in intercourse or any personal genital stimulation.
Step2
Think about something else. If you feel you are about to climax prematurely, think about something non-sexual if possible. Visualize an image or situation that will briefly take your mind off your sexual encounter.
Step3
Start and stop sexual activity. If you are about to ejaculate prematurely, withdraw your penis from your partner for a few seconds. Give yourself enough time to gain control, and then start again. Repeat as necessary.
Step4
Squeeze the tip of your penis. When ejaculation is imminent, squeeze the tip of your penis firmly for about 10 to 15 seconds. Avoid genital stimulation for about 20 seconds, then resume.
Step5
Use desensitizing creams and condoms. Desensitizing creams act like a topical anesthetic. Place a small amount on the tip of your penis before sex. Thicker condoms can also desensitize the penis and help to prevent premature ejaculation.
Step6
Develop your relationship. Having a good relationship with your partner promotes an atmosphere of trust which helps to remove anxiety from your sex life. Communicating honestly about your concerns before sex is one of the most effective ways to prevent premature ejaculation.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't forget to breath deeply during sex. Breathing deeply increases relaxation, clears the mind, and helps to alleviate performance anxiety.
  • Find what works for you. Everybody responds to different things. Don't be afraid to try various techniques until you find what works for you.
  • Relax and have fun.
