Whether it's little children speaking their own language or a professional speaking in technical jargon, when you don't understand what someone is saying, you might label their words "gibberish." However, Gibberish actually is a language game in which kids "make up" a new language. Idig Gibberish is one of the most common secret languages and once you've got the rhythm and the rules down, it's pretty simple to speak.

1
Break words into manageable syllables. When speaking Idig, you'll insert the -idig blend of phonemes (known as an infix) after the beginning sound of each syllable. That means that the longer the word is, the more times you'll insert the -idig sound. For example, a short word like "hat" becomes "hidigat," while a longer word like "table" becomes "tidigabidigle."
-
2
Insert the -idig phoneme after the second letter in blends, instead of the first sound. For instance the word "brat" wouldn't be "bidigrat," but rather "bridigat." The trick is to listen for the entire beginning sound, which is much easier to do when you are speaking (as opposed to reading) the language.
-
3
Use the existing vowel sound of the word begins with a vowel instead of inserting or replacing it with the short "i." Using this rule, then in Gibberish the word "open" becomes "odigpidigen." A single-syllable example would be "out" becoming "oudigit." Notice that since the "ou" in "out" blend to make one sound, they are considered to be the onset of the word and not separated.
-
4
Speak a different dialect of Idig Gibberish by using the infix "itheg" instead of "idig." The rules work the same way, but the inserted sound makes the language sound a little different. Think of it as the difference between an American with a Southern accent and an American with a Northwestern accent.
