1
Apply lip liner just outside the natural line of your lips. Use a very thin line. Focus mostly on the upper lip, where makeup is less obvious.

3
Apply your lipstick as usual. Make sure that it extends to the edge of the lip liner.

4
Blot your lipstick. Press a tissue between your lips, then press your lips together around it. You will see a lipstick print in the shape of your lips. Examine your lips to make sure that you have not blotted so much lipstick off that the lip liner is evident.

5
Apply a dot of the pearly lipstick to the middle of your top and bottom lip. This will give your lips a poutier look and additional dimension. Blend the lipstick in so that you do not have a line running from top to bottom.
-
6
Apply a thin film of lip gloss over your lip stick. Lip gloss creates additional shine on your lips and makes them appear fuller. You will probably need to reapply the lip gloss over the course of the evening, but it should have the added benefit of protecting your lipstick from wear.

7
Practice your smile. When people smile, it tends to minimize thin lips even more. Smile in the mirror until you find a way that looks natural without stretching your lips too much (preferably it should be a facial expression you already use on occasion). Use that smile when you want your lips to look fuller.

Tips & Warnings
Some types of lip gloss claim to "plump" lips. You can try these brands to see if they work for you, but keep a tissue handy to wipe off the gloss if necessary, because some people find these types of gloss extremely irritating or even painful.
