Step 1
Find a website that allows you to create a word search game. These sites are not all the same. Find one that is easy to use and only requires you to enter the words and then it generates a word puzzle for you.

Decide how many words you want to have in your word search puzzle. The most common puzzle has 54 words. Enter all the words that you would like in the spaces. If you use less words than there are spaces, the puzzle will be smaller. This is perfect for making kid's word search games.

Enter the words and then make a title for your word search game. You can enter your name as the author and a short description of the puzzle. You might have a word search about farm animals or fruits. You can describe the puzzle so the person doing it knows what the theme is about before doing it.

Select the color of the puzzle and the background color. Select the size of the puzzle grid and the font size. Then select format which will include diagonal, down and forwards. Select where to have the word list such as on the bottom or on the side.

Enter all the information required and then click the "make puzzle" box. This will generate a word search puzzle that can be printed or saved to your computer. The entire process only takes a matter of minutes after entering the words.
