Instructions

    • 1

The first step in building your fairy house is to create the structure. To do this, you will need to screw four windows together using one screw at the top and one screw at the bottom of each window to form a square block. Screw another window to the bottom of the block, using one screw on each of the four sides, to form an open ended box.

    • 2

While box is bottom side up, screw or hot glue wooden balls to the bottom of the box to form the legs of the fairy house. Turn the box over onto it's legs.

    • 3

Screw or hot glue the last two windows together to form a "V". Turn the "V" over and hot glue or screw the windows to the top of the box to form the roof of the fairy house.

    • 4

This leaves you with two openings in the roof to decorate the inside of the fairy house. Try adding a small potted plant , candles, or even a mini rock garden inside.

    • 5

Paint window frames if desired, being careful not to get paint on the glass.

    • 6

Place your new fairy house in your favorite spot in your garden to welcome new visitors.

Tips & Warnings

  • Create a beautiful landscape to your fairy house by adding dried greens and flowers around the outside of the structure.

  • Glue berries, silk or dried flowers and foliage and moss to the roof of your fairy house for a natural flair.

  • Be sure that your hot glue is made specifically for wood. You can find wood glue sticks at most craft and home supply stores.
