  • Electronic Greeting Cards
  • Internet Access
  • Computers
  1. Step 1

    Visit a search engine such as Google or Yahoo.

  2. Step 2

    Type in the keywords "electronic greeting cards."

  3. Step 3

    Press Enter on your keyboard or click the Search button to submit your query.

  4. Step 4

    Click on a site that best suits your interests or needs from the list of search results provided by the search engine. Select the category of the greeting you'd like to send.

  5. Step 5

    Follow the directions provided by the site to create and send a personalized greeting card.

  6. Step 6

    Fill in the e-mail address of the recipient and your e-mail address as the sender.

  7. Step 7

    Press or click the Preview button to see exactly how your greeting will appear to the recipient. Most Web sites offer this feature.

  8. Step 8

    Press the Send button when you have finished to send it to that special someone.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some sites provide thousands of custom made cards which you simply add the relevant e-mail addresses to. Other sites give you more control and actually let you choose a picture, music, backgrounds and icons.
  • There are sites that let you upload a picture from your own files. Follow the site's directions to add your own picture to the card.
