Style Your Hair Like Rihanna

Rihanna changes her hairstyle often, but she always looks great. She's not afraid to take risks like cutting her long locks into a very short blunt bob. If you want to style your hair like the singer, you have to be willing to take risks as well.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Hair dryer
  • Straightening iron
  • Styling gel or mousse
  • Hair spray
  • Curling iron
  1. Step 1

Get a short blunt cut. If you want to rock the singer's shorter hairstyle, you will need to part with your long locks. Have a professional give you a similar cut; very short in the back with long sweeping bangs in the front.

  2. Step 2

Blow dry your hair straight. If your hair is already straight, you can skip this step. If you hair is wavy or curly, you should blow dry it straight to get the superstar's sleek look.

  3. Step 3

Iron your hair with a ceramic straightening iron. Use an iron best suited for shorter hair (usually smaller than irons for longer hair). Iron your long sweeping bangs as straight as possible.

  4. Step 4

Set the style in place with styling gel or mousse. Lightly spritz your entire hairdo with hair spray.

  5. Step 5

Gently curl your longer locks if you want to sport the singer's longer hairstyle. Use a curling iron to curl each strand of your hair and gently unravel the curls with your fingertips. Whether you style your hair in the short style or long style, always maintain long sweeping bangs.
