It promotes a sense of well-being that most of us crave if we do not get it. A "snuggle party" is the perfect venue for respectful touch, if you have a crowd willing to give this idea a try. Here's how to plan a snuggle party for adults.

Comfortable furniture, pillows

Step1

Find or create a list of etiquette for your snuggle party. No one should ever feel uncomfortable at the party. No one should feel like she HAS to snuggle a certain other person. No one should engage in any kind of sexual behavior at the party.

Step2

Invite a group of responsible adults to the party. For safety reasons, make them RSVP to get the address.

Step3

Prepare snack food and non-alcoholic drinks. Have these available for your guests throughout the party.

Invite everyone to sit in a circle. Explain the rules and ask for thoughts or contributions from the group so that everyone can feel comfortable. Remember that you have the last say since you are the host. Moderate the discussion to keep everyone on track.

Put on soft music to encourage cuddling. Feel free to join in with snuggles and conversation.
