Instructions

Remove paint with exfoliants. These can be found in many facial scrubs. The grains of sand or bead in the exfoliants will help to naturally break up the paint on your skin. The purpose of the grains of sand and beads is to lift up and remove dead skin so the same principal applies for the paint. Apply the exfoliant and rub over the paint in a circular motion. Then rinse and wipe away with a wash cloth.

Apply oranges and lemons. Oranges and lemons are citrus fruits. Citrus fruits are full of natural acids. Acids can be harsh and eat away at things including any paint you may have gotten on your skin. Just Slice up your orange or lemon and squeeze the slices over your body where you got paint. You may want to do this while standing in a shower or bath tub so you don't get the juice all over the floor. Then wipe with a washcloth.

Use baby oil. Pour some baby oil on your painted skin and then rub it with a wash cloth. The baby oil will soak up the paint and you will see it on the wash cloth. Rinse out the washcloth and repeat until all the paint is removed.

Apply butter. If your paint is already dry you may want to use butter. Make sure your stick of butter is already soft. If it isn't you can microwave it for a few seconds. Generously wipe the butter on your painted skin. Once the butter begins to loosen up the paint you should be able to peel it right off. It's a slimy (greasy) trick, but it works!

Use soap, water, and a sponge with a hard surface. They make sponges that are yellow and soft on one side, and green and hard on the other. These types of sponges are great for getting paint off without hurting you. Lather up the area that needs to be cleaned with soap and water. Preferably stick the part of your body that has paint on it under running water and start scrubbing with the green side of the sponge. Add more soap as necessary until you have scrubbed away all the paint.

Tips & Warnings

  • Try to wash the paint off while it is still wet. This is not always possible, but it will save you time if you can get to it right away.

  • Paint thinner is a chemical and can be quite dangerous. Don't use it on your skin.
