Launch your web browser and go to the MedicAlert website. Medic Alert is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1956 and is the gold standard for medical alert bracelets.

Click on"Services" to familiarize yourself with the options that MedicAlert provides its customers. The MedicAlert 24-Hour Emergency Response Service provides emergency personnel instant access to your medical condition 24 hours a day and notifies your family members that an incident has occurred.

Use the menu bar on the left to look through the other services offered by MedicAlert.

Click on "Products" from the top menu to pick out your medical alert bracelet. In addition to the basic medical alert bracelet, the company also has a watch, designer metals, stretch bands as well as sports bands.

Select the band type that you want to purchase. Browse the options that fall under that category and make note of the specific medical alert bracelet that you would like to purchase.

Click the "Join Now" option and fill out the requested information, read and agree to the terms of service and click on "Next" to continue.

Enter your personal information and then click the "Submit" button.

Click on "Select Emblem" to select your medical alert bracelet.

Select your engraving options. You can either have MedicAlert review your file to create your engraved emblem or call their customer service number to discuss your options. Click on "Submit."

Complete your membership order. You will be enrolled for a one year membership as well as receive your emblem.
