Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- MW Snap software
- Computer
Step1
Incredibly easy to use, MW snap allows you to capture photos two different ways. By clicking on the "fixed rectangle" mode, you will have a fixed box that will encompass just that portion of the screen. To use this function: On the Snap Tab, click on the fixed rectangle button. This will give you a menu that includes a section that specifies the rectangle size. Adjust the size to your preference.
Step2
After detailing the size of the rectangle, click on the "snap fixed rectangle" button. It will immediately hide this screen and place your rectangle wherever your pointer is located. Move the box around until the part of the screen you wish to capture fits into the available space and click your left mouse button (or hit enter). The area you highlighted inside your box will now appear on the MWSnap screen. At this point you can save the picture to any of a variety of formats.
Step3
Another way to capture your screen is by using the "Any rect. Area" feature. Using this option will allow you to draw a rectangle of any size on any area of your screen you choose. Once you have clicked on the "Any rect area" button, click on the snap any area button. Your pointer will now become a "+." By pressing the left control button on your mouse and holding it, you will be able to "draw" a rectangular box anywhere on your screen.
Step4
To adjust the size of your box use the space bar. Depressing the space bar allows you to activate an individual corner so that you can adjust the size of your box for that section. Again, clicking the left mouse button or hitting enter will capture your "picture." At this point you can save or revise the image.
Step5
Clicking on the "Full desktop" button, then on the "snap full desktop" will provide you with a screenshot of your entire desktop screen.Clicking on the "Window/menu" button then on the "snap window/menu" button will provide you with a screenshot of the window you are currently accessing.
