Are you hosting a 4th of July celebration this year? Have something fun and safe your kids to play with. Make your little ones feel apart of your July 4th celebrations with a goodie bag. Here’s some advice on how to make 4th of July celebration goodie bags.

Things You'll Need:

  • Individual clear party favor bags
  • Candy
  • Paper poppers
  • Red, white and blue toys
  1. Step 1

    Make a list of all the kids that will be attending the 4th of July celebration. This will give you’re an estimate on how many 4th of July party bags you will need to make.

  2. Step 2

    Make a budget of how much you want to spend on the 4th of July party bags. For example, candy - $20.00; toys - $30.00; paper poppers - $20.00 and party bags - $10.00.

  3. Step 3

    Purchase clear party bags, candy, toys and poppers from a party supply store, dollar store or a local discount department store.

  4. Step 4

    Fill each party bag with a variety of red, white and blue candy. Some examples are mini sized boxes of red Hot Tamales, blue raspberry Air Heads and white Mystery Air Heads.

  5. Step 5

    Fill each party bag with a variety of fun red, white and blue toys. Some ideas for this are parachute men and mini fans.

  6. Step 6

    Fill each bag with a variety of paper party poppers.

Tips & Warnings
  • To add more sparkle to the goodie bags, secure the bags with one red, one white and one blue ribbon and curl the ends of the ribbons.
  • When you purchase the 4th of July goodie bag supplies, remember to buy a little extra just in case more kids attend your celebration than you planed for.
