Dying hair, dying clothes and dying fabric, they can all leave stains on your skin. If you forgot your clothes or splashed some coloring, don't fret. Just follow these simple steps to get that color off in no time.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First, get back to basics. Scrub with a little soap and water to see if the dye comes off on its own.

  2. Step 2

Next, exfoliate. Chances are you can get most of that dye off with a skin scrub. Exfoliate and rinse using a loofah or scrubbing cleanser and rinse. Do not repeat more than once a day or risk irritation.

  3. Step 3

Know that lye soap is recommended for tough dye stains. Simply rub in and rinse off as usual.

  4. Step 4

Keep in mind that a product called Reduran is recommended for dye removal, but many users comment that it smells terrible. Use at your own risk.
