Cut your textured fabric to 5-inches x 20-inches. Sew ribbon and fabric trim along the length of each side of the strip covering the raw edges.
-
5
Wrap your embellished textured fabric around the center of the pillow form covering the seam on the back of the satin pillow. Fold the raw edge under and sew it in place with tiny, even stitches.
-
6
Fold a piece of ribbon in half. This can be wide or narrow, satin or textured. You may want to choose a piece of ribbon that has sentimental value like a piece of lace from mom’s wedding dress, or a piece of ribbon from your christening dress. Sew this ribbon to the center of the pillow. You can now use the ribbon to tie your wedding rings to the center of the pillow.

Tips & Warnings
Give yourself plenty of time to make your ring bearer's pillow so it can be special.
If possible get fabric from the bridal store to match your dress or your bridesmaid's dresses.
Try to get fabric to match the men's vests for the center of your pillow.
Let your ring bearer know in advance that he will have to give up the pillow when he is done. If you think he will give you a hard time, trade it for a toy truck.
