How to Insert Add ons in Yahoo SiteBuilder

Website design has never been more in reach to the many people who have no idea how to program a website than it is now. Yahoo SiteBuilder is a website design program that allows just about anybody to create a website, using a drag-and-drop interface.

Instructions

1. Open the application. Left-click on the icon for Yahoo SiteBuilder to load the program.

2. Load the web page that you wish to create add-ons in. To open a web page, click on the “File” tab on the command bar and scroll to "Open Page." Select the desired page and click "Open."

3. Set the add-on properties. When you select the desired add-on, a properties box will open. There will be a variety of options in this box. You can select the size (by specifying the dimensions), colors and borders. Select the desired options and click “Okay” to implement. Place the add-on where desired on the page by left-clicking on it and dragging it to the location of preference.

4. Publish the site. To publish your website, left-click on the “Publish” button on the command bar, and select the desired URL to publish the website to.

Tips & Warnings

• Test the page in your browser for accuracy. Always test for accuracy by using the “F12” hotkey to open it in a new browser window, before publishing your website.
