Visit Wisconsin Dells. Wisconsin Dells is a hub of amusement, excitement and natural beauty. It was named for the uniquely beautiful rock formations that line the banks of the Wisconsin River. Tours of this spectacular scenery are available by boat or amphibious vehicles known as ducks. Wisconsin Dells has more to offer than natural beauty, however. With dense woods and countless lakes, Northern Wisconsin is home to a wide variety of animal species. Door County is situated on the peninsula that juts out into Lake Michigan, meaning gorgeous water views and lighthouses abound. Additionally, Door County is home to numerous wineries and orchards, and is particularly known for its cherries. Door County also has a strong history of visual and performing arts, which is evidenced by the many performances and exhibitions that take place in the area. Visit Madison, the home of the University of Wisconsin and the state capitol. It offers a great street to stroll down and a vibrant atmosphere. State Street connects the capitol building to the university area. State Street is lined with diverse shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. The state capitol building is also worth a visit, with beautiful architecture inside and out. On nice days, the atmosphere around the university has no equal and a stroll around campus can make for an enjoyable day.

Go shopping in Milwaukee. Milwaukee is Wisconsin’s biggest city and is situated on the shores of Lake Michigan. Although Milwaukee is known primarily for its brewery, it is also home to the Milwaukee Zoo, the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Milwaukee Public Museum, the Mitchell Park Conservatory and countless other attractions. In the summer, Milwaukee hosts many festivals, including Summerfest, a renowned music festival. Historic sites, shopping, dining and entertainment abound.
