Your skin is one of the most sensitive parts of your body. When you're dehydrated, your skin can flush. When you're overly sweaty, you can break out. Your moods, emotions and state of well-being all affect your complexion. Learn how to improve your complexion by boosting circulation in your capellaries.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Washcloth
  • Warm water
  • Face wash
  1. Step 1

Clean your face with a gentle soap and rinse with warm water. Wash your hands with antibacterial soap as well.

  2. Step 2

Take a warm wet washcloth and gently press your fingers on your skin underneath the warm cloth.

  3. Step 3

Make small, circular motions with the warm washcloth as you cover the entire area of your face. You may notice some reddening, which is normal.

  4. Step 4

Exercise. One of the best ways to boost circulation internally is by working out and raising your heart rate. You might flush at first, but you'll inherit a healthy glow post-workout.

  5. Step 5

Drink plenty of water. Fresh water cleans out your system and boosts your circulation naturally. You should notice a clearer complexion within days.

  6. Step 6

Get a massage. Or, do it yourself. Rub a cucumber and green tea face mask lotion over your skin and massage in slow circles. Place cucumber rounds on your eyes to reduce puffiness.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always wash your face after wearing makeup or working out. The less oil you have on your skin, the better.
  • Never scrub at your skin or clean it when your hands are dirty. You could end up breaking out.
