Paint stains can be difficult to get out of clothes. Yet with a couple of these ideas and a little work, you can get the paint out of your clothes in no time.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Hairspray
  • Scrub brush
  • Tweezers or scissors

Step1
Picking at the paint with your fingernail will help get paint out of clothes a bit.
Step2
Use hairspray to saturate the paint stains. Let the garment soak for an hour or so in the hairspray.
Step3
Use small scissors or tweezers to gently pull up the softened paint on the clothing. Be careful not to rip the fabric.
Step4
Scrub any remaining paint with a scrub brush to get off whatever paint remains.
Step5
Repeat Steps 1 through 5 until all the paint has come off the garment.
Step6
Wash the garment in warm water and an extra bit of laundry soap. If there is any remaining paint after the first washing, wash it again.
Step7
Dry the garment.
