Military people are stationed at various locales throughout the world. It is not hard to find them, if you know where to look. To find military singles, here are some steps to get you started.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

    Find Military Singles

  1. Step 1

Know what kind of single you want to find. The four branches of the military are: Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines and people within these groups behave very differently. Generally speaking, Air Force personnel tend to be a little more “laid back,” then would a Marine Special Forces, for example. Army “grunts” tend to be more obtrusive than a navy officer, too. How military people behave may also depend their job description, too. Research military job descriptions to familiar yourself with the type of person you may be looking for.

  2. Step 2

Find a military installation. Many military posts or bases have officers and non-commissioned officer (NCO) clubs. These are places where military people have been known to congregate daily. Know the difference between posts and bases.

  3. Step 3

Call a recruiter or local reporter. A military recruiter's job is to get people to enlist in military service. They often have a lot of community contacts. A local reporter will also have a lot of community contacts, as well as information about various athletic events; many events which specifically cater to military people.

  4. Step 4

Contact military associations. The Military Officer's Association of America (MOAA) and the National Association for Uniformed Services are two major groups. You can also contact the United Service Organization (USO). It is a non-profit organization which has directories, contacts, entertainment and other events where military people get together.

  5. Step 5

    Use alternative resources.
