How to Find Health Insurance for a Nanny

Step1
Determine if you are eligible to enroll in a small business association that provides a way for you to purchase group health insurance coverage for your nanny. Some larger insurance companies no longer provide group coverage for nannies but this will vary from state to state.
Step2
Call national health care insurance providers and request a quote on individual health care coverage. The premium may be higher than group coverage since you are purchasing an individual plan.
Step3
Contact a nanny health insurance agent. The International Nanny Association can provide you with a list of nanny insurance providers in your area.
Step4
Determine how much of the health care premium you will pay and how much your nanny will pay. Work this out in advance and put it into writing.
Step5
Enroll your nanny for coverage.
