1
Prepare your carnations and filler flowers by cutting the stems leaving only about 2 inches. Set aside.

2
Take your ribbon and wrap it six or eight times around four of your fingers. Slip off the ribbon and twist the middle so that it resembles the figure eight. Use the wire from a wooden floral pick to wrap around and secure the ribbon tightly around the middle. Separate the loops on each side till you have a bow. Adjust as needed.

Gather the carnations in your hand and arrange so that the face of each flower is a little lower than the one above, place the filler flowers in between the carnations and secure all with a piece of floral tape. The tape will stick to itself when wrapped around the stems. If any of the flowers are too short just attach a wooden floral pick to lengthen them.

Take the ribbon and place at the bottom of the corsage. Secure by wrapping the floral tape around the wooden pick and the flower stems. Put a corsage pin into the wrapped stems and your corsage is done and ready to wear.

You can use silk flowers instead of fresh if you desire. Craft stores carry a spray to make them smell like fresh flowers.
