How to Spot Fake Burberry Purses

With so many replicas on the market, you must be careful when purchasing a Burberry purse. If you want to be sure you are buying an authentic purse, buy it from an authorized Burberry retailer. If you opt to make the purchase elsewhere, there are a few ways to spot a fake Burberry purse.

1. Examine the purse's material. Burberry purses are made from vinyl-coated canvas, which is resistant to stains and strong and durable. If the purse's material is slick or flimsy, it is probably not an authentic Burberry purse.

2. Observe the pattern on the purse. If the lines are at all crooked, it is a fake. Burberry purses feature patterns with perfectly straight horizontal and vertical lines. The lines are clean, with no bleeding into surrounding colors.

3. Look at the tag inside the purse; its color should match that of the interior lining of the purse. Check for any misspellings or typos on the label. The tag should read "Burberry London" on the front and "Made in Italy" on the back.

4. Look at the hardware on the purse. The zipper lock should be imprinted with "Burberry" on both sides. If the zipper lock is blank, it is a fake.

5. Scrutinize the leather trim on the purse. It should be even all the way around. If there is any variation, it probably isn't an authentic Burberry purse.
