Instructions

    • 1

Sign up for a free account at Cozi.com. Look for the "sign up" button to begin the process. After clicking this button, it will immediately ask you for some basic information. You'll need to enter your name, email address, and an easy to remember password.

    • 2

Select the "next" button to customize your newly formed Cozi account. It will prompt you to create and enter a name for this new account, the name of the adults in the household, an email address and the names of your children as well. If you would prefer not to place the names of your minor children in the application, you can choose to leave them out completely or create nicknames instead.

    • 3

Set up parental controls via this customization feature as well. If there are any minor children who will have access to the Cozi account, then you'll be able to easily limit their access. This will help to protect them from any unauthorized information and prevent you from worrying about what they are viewing. Setting up these restrictions will only take a few minutes of your time.

    • 4

Log in to your Cozi account and view the family homepage. You'll be able to access the household calendar and also schedule important appointments or events. All family members will have the chance to keep track of soccer games, football games, and other things. Calendars can even be printed out to display the week, day, or month if you desire.

    • 5

Synchronize your scheduled events via Microsoft Outlook. Users with PDA's or other Windows-based mobile devices can remain up to date with any new changes. This is one of the easiest ways to avoid missing out on family events because of an unscheduled change.

    • 6

Create convenient grocery lists to help you make shopping easier. You'll be able to access it while on the go. If you happen to forget your shopping list, simply call the preset toll-free number to hear it over the phone. This will definitely help you to avoid wasting time by having to travel back home, get the shopping list, and then go back to the store.

    • 7

Send message reminders and updates to other household members on their mobile phones or to their email addresses. Doing this will help to prevent you from playing phone tag with them. Being able to stay in constant contact will soon turn your hectic household into an organized one.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep other family members up to date with schedule changes. Try to hold regular family meetings to discuss scheduling events.

  • Don't allow younger members of the household to have full access to the Cozi account.
