Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blender
  • Fat-free Plain Yogurt
  • Fat-free Milk
  • Fresh Strawberries
  • Fresh Blueberries
  • Fresh Raspberries
  • Protein Powder
  • Flax Seeds
  • Paper Towel
  • Plate
  • 1 cup Measuring Cup
  • 1/3 cup Measuring Cup
  • ½ cup Measuring Cup
  • Tablespoon
  • Glass/Cup
  1. Step 1

Clean your fresh berries and let them drain on a paper towel placed on a plate.

  2. Step 2

    Cut the strawberries in half.

  3. Step 3

Place one cup of fat-free plain yogurt and 1 cup fat-free milk in a blender.

  4. Step 4

Put 1/3 cup of blueberries, 1/3 cup of raspberries and ½ cup of strawberries in the blender.

  5. Step 5

Add one tablespoon of your favorite protein powder and one tablespoon of flax seeds. Flax seeds are rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and are known to boost immunity as well as giving your metabolism a boost.

  6. Step 6

Blend all of the ingredients until the smoothie is at your desired consistency. If you prefer a little thinner smooth, add milk a tablespoon at a time blending between each addition.

  7. Step 7

Pour your low-fat berry smoothie into a glass or cup and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • Add a banana to your smoothie to give it a different taste and add an extra punch of potassium.
  • If you like a crunchier consistency to your smoothie put a cup of ice in the blender before any of the other ingredients.
  • If you follow a dairy-free diet, you can use soy yogurt and milk. Soft tofu also makes a good substitute for yogurt.
