How to Make Curtains With Bed Sheets

With a few simple tools, it's easy to make beautiful curtains out of ordinary bed sheets.

Things You'll Need:

• bed sheets
• clip on hangers
• ordinary curtain rod

1. Purchase curtains that will match your decor. You can use either solid colored sheets or a patter which matches your home interior.

2. 
    

   Buy simple hanging clips. You can get these from most any regular department store.

3. Take down your curtain rod and slide the clips over the end of the rod (just like with a shower curtain) until all the clips are on the rod.

4. Rehang your curtain rod and clip the sheets to them at regular intervals so that they are hanging evenly. Spread out the clips so that the curtains have a pleasing look.

5. If the sheets happen to be too long to use for your windows, use cut them across the bottom in a straight line and hem them to the correct length. If you don't sew, you can take them to a local seamstress to have them hemmed.
