Making a Baby Ninja Outfit
-
1
Dress your baby in black. A black bunting will transform your baby into a pint-sized ninja. Unlike the more complete cover of an adult ninja don’t cover his face –you don’t want to smother him! He’ll still look like a ninja with only his face showing.
-
2
Decide on your little ninja’s weapon. Should she be armed with nun chucks or a lethal throwing star? Find inspiration for a ninja’s arsenal online by browsing ninja pictures. If you select a throwing star, print out a picture of one to use as a pattern.

3
Design a throwing star weapon by cutting two matching stars from gray felt. You could trace the printed-out star onto the felt before taking scissors to it or you could do it freehand. With a needle and thread or a sewing machine, sew the edges together, leaving a small opening.
-
4
Stuff batting inside of the partially sewed star. Finish sewing so that the star is completely closed.
-
5
Make other ninja accessories like nun chucks or a sword from felt or other material that is not dangerous if your little one puts it in his mouth. Check out toy stores for plastic swords.
