Thinking about the new baby inside you is very exciting. Here are a few clues about the sex of your baby.

1. If your baby was conceived just before ovulation, chances are that you are having a girl. Female sperm can survive longer than male sperm waiting for the egg.

2. If your baby was conceived just after ovulation, chances are that you are having a boy. Generally, male sperm swims faster than female sperm.

3. If your pee smells particularly funny, more like your husband's than your own, you may be having a boy.

4. If you have an amnio or CVS, the lab work will also be able to tell you if you are having a boy or a girl. These tests are very accurate but should not be performed just to determine the sex of the baby because of the risks involved.

5. If your skin is breaking out far more than ever, it is more likely that you are having a girl. This has something to do with the amount of hormones you are producing. Your grandmother will tell you that girls steal your beauty and boys make you glow.

6. If you are craving citrus fruits, you are probably having a boy.

7. A Chinese birth chart may give you a good guess about your baby...or maybe not. Either way it is fun to guess! You will be able to find one doing a simple Google search on line.
