Has your boyfriend for months or years decided that it's time to meet the parents? Are you stressing on how to impress them? Well, here are just some few tips every girl needs to know.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Flattering and modest clothes
  • Food to bring to their house
  • Your personality
  • Your values
  1. Step 1

Pick an outfit. All you have to do is get clothes that will flatter your physique but at the same time, look very modest and conservative. Look confident with your outfit because it will be the first thing that they will see along with your face. But remember, this isnt a job interview. Don't fuss over it too much.

  2. Step 2

Do not wear too much make-up.

  3. Step 3

Decide on what food you should bring to his family or his parents. A cake? Brownies? Pie? Strawberries? Maybe, even a fruit basket? Just be thoughtful about it.

  4. Step 4

Once you get into the house (if youre meeting at their house), make sure to look around and smile. Compliment the house and its decors. Say how nice it looks.

  5. Step 5

When your boyfriend finally introduces you, make sure to wear a sincere smile. Look at every family member. Take time to smile at all of them to let them know you're paying attention and that you care that you're meeting them.

  6. Step 6

During the introduction, you can try to shake everybody's hands. If they seem nice enough and welcoming and looks like they would rather do it anyway, give them a slight hug.

  7. Step 7

    Present your food.

  8. Step 8

Remember to stay true to yourself, present yourself in a modest manner. Show your sense of humor by laughing at their little talks and stories or jokes. Be polite and confident with yourself.

Tips & Warnings
  • DON'T KISS YOUR BOYFRIEND IN FRONT OF ANY OF THEM. (a slight kiss on the cheek would do)
  • avoid being too touchy
  • do say something about yourself, but ask some questions about them too
