Summer fun in the sun, hot weather, cold drinks, a nice picnic or maybe a barbecue. Those are all wonderful ways to enjoy the season, but what about that old swimming pool? Yes, indeed. Jumping in, and splashing around bring great joy to the body & soul, but what bout when it's done for the day? Leaving the suit out with out rinsing it will cause it to fade, and become brittle so that the fibers will tear more easily. Here is quick way to wash out the chlorine from your bathing suit, or bikini

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 Teaspoon laundry soap
  • Bathroom sink filled with cool water
  1. Step 1

After you've enjoyed the pool for the time being, take your suit off, and wring with your hands to squeeze all the excess water out.

  2. Step 2

Shut the stopper on the sink, and pour in the teaspoon full of laundry soap.

  3. Step 3

Fill the sink with cool water, and place the suit inside making certain to get it all submerged.

  4. Step 4

Let it sit for about a minute. After that time, begin to stir it around in the water.

  5. Step 5

Once it has been swished around several times, take it out of the water. Give it a light wringing, and return it to the water for more agitation.

  6. Step 6

After agitating for 3-4 minutes, drain the water from the sink. Let all the soapy water drain away.

  7. Step 7

Turn on the cool water without stopping the drain plug. Rinse the suit for a minute or two.

  8. Step 8

Hang to dry, and re-use when desired. Repeat for continuous usage.
