Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Pull out the receipt and paperwork for your phone.
    Find your phone's IMEI or serial number--it should be there somewhere.

  2. Step 2

    Get your original SIM number back by informing your service provider.
    Now complain about your stolen phone in police station and keep a copy of your complaint.

  3. Step 3

    Contact your local phone service provider and other service provider and give them a copy of complaint and request that they inform you when your phone is activated by someone else.
    Don't get rid of your original number.
    When some one inserts a SIM in your stolen phone, the mobile service provider will get the information and contact you.

Tips & Warnings
  • do not call 911 when contacting police. your stolen phone is not a giant emergency.
