Things You'll Need:
- Hot oil treatment
- Towels
-
Step 1
First thing to do is ignore the instructions on the box. They are different than the ones I'm going to give you.
-
Step 2
Put the tube of hot oil treatment in a glass of hot water. (not boiling but very very warm).Let it sit for 2 minutes.
-
Step 3
Put a towel in the sink and put as hot of water as you can stand on it and get it really wet.
-
Step 4
Put the hot oil treatment on your DRY hair. Get it all over and as soon as you are sure you have it covered, take the hot wet towel and wrap it around your head. Leave this on for 5 minutes.
-
Step 5
Now take the towel off, it should be kind of green. Shampoo your hair and you are good to go.

on 8/25/2008 Wow! This takes me back. I was looking for something to help out my daughter with her greenish locks, and this jogged a totally forgotten memory of de-greening my own hair as a kid using the exact same method. It worked then, and it'll work for her too. Thanks for the reminder!

on 7/11/2008 I was out of town recently, packed my suit but never hit the pool. I was worried about my hair turning green (and my cellulite showing). Thanks for the heads up!
