Step 1
Most college students can't afford spring break packages above the $800 mark. Try to focus on packages in the sub-$800 category.
-
Step 2
Airfare prices are going up, and most feel they will not decrease any time soon. Spring break cruises are a great choice because you eliminate the high prices associated with airfare packages.
-
Step 3
Spring break trips that last longer than three nights are the most popular based on historical data.
-
Step 4
All inclusive spring break vacations are always popular because students like to know exactly how much they will spend for the package. They don't want to worry about food, drink, and activity cost they may incur on the trip.

on 8/25/2008 This information is very specific to the website this poster is promoting, which is ironic as the Bahamas is one of the most expensive destination choices on spring break. Further, the advice of "under $800 is what to look for" is poor at best. Airfare alone is running $50-$600 per person, and when you add the cost of accommodations on top of that, trip package prices START AT $800 per person...a budget of $1000 is more realistic. Cancun is typically the lowest cost destination with airfare & hotel included from the midwest. East coasters should look at Negril, Jamaica for a lower cost as it is closer to that side of the USA. California & west coasters should consider Puerto Vallarta or Mazatlan Mexico to keep the price in check. For road trippers, South Padre Island Texas is a great choice. Airfare on Southwest Airlines out of the midwest is also reasonably priced. Companies like www.sp
