How to program channels for Sabrent TV-LCD05 tv tuner

There a couple of difficulties I encountered with this product. The biggest difficulty is tuning the channels. I will cover that process in this article.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

• Sabrent LCD-TV05
• Computer Monitor
• Television Signal

1. These are pre-requisite steps:
2. Plug the monitor into the tuner with the VGA cable.
3. Plug in the monitor and turn it on.
4. Plug the tuner in with the DC power supply and turn power up the tuner.
5. Now for the channel tuning:
6. Remote Control Menu option Press the Menu button either on the remote,
7. Tuner Menu Option or on the tuner box itself.
8. Captured using cellular phone - Onscreen Menu upon first entering menu Then you will be in the on screen Menu Screen.
9. Volume on Remote control You then use the volume up key on the remote,
10. volume on Tuner or on the tuner.
11. Tune Menu to get to the tune menu.
12. Now, scroll down to the auto tune using the channel button
13. Now, take note of the channels that the auto tune finds, you can go up and down in frequency using the volume button, but you cannot stop on a channel.
14. Now, once the auto tuning is done, you can use the fine tune to get the frequency for the channel you want.
15. This is a time consuming process, as the frequency must be moved one Mega Hertz at a time with the down volume button and the frequency always starts at 799.99 MhZ.

Tips & Warnings

• I would suggest not buying this product for the purpose of using it to tune in cable channels, unless you want to spend a lot of time tuning all those channels into this. It is a large time commitment
• This product also has a bad hue, as in all the images turn blue at a certain point
• I have not tested this product with any gaming system or DVD player, or VCR.
