      Click "Start" and then "Control Panel."

      Click "Security" and then click "Security Center."

      Click the link for "Change the way Security Center alerts me."

    • 4

      Click "Don't notify me and don't display the icon" to stop the security alerts from appearing. Exit out of the Security Center.
