Instructions

    • 1

Soak the burners in a salt and water mixture to break up stains and grease. Put the burners in a bowl full of water, and pour salt directly onto the grease and let it sit. Scrub with a nylon sponge or soft-bristled brush to remove stains. If this method removes the stains, you are all done. However, if stains remain, you can try another method.

    • 2

Place the burner in an empty sink. Pour baking soda directly onto the burner and then drizzle with vinegar. This will cause foaming on the burner. Allow the mixture to work on the stains for a few minutes.

    • 3

Scrub the mixture on the burners with a nylon sponge or soft-bristled scrub brush. As the stains dissipate during scrubbing, turn on the water in the sink and rinse. Once complete, your stove burner looks brand new.
