Cleaning your stove burners does not have to entail an hour of scrubbing with brillo pads. Use this easy "green" way to clean your stove burners, and have an easy day.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large Pan
  • Baking Powder
  • Water
  1. Step 1

    Fill your large pan about 3/4 full of water.

  2. Step 2

    Add 1/2 cup of baking soda. Stir.

  3. Step 3

    Immerse stove burners.

  4. Step 4

    Bring water to a full boil. Boil for 2 full minutes.

  5. Step 5

    Simmer for another 10 minutes.

  6. Step 6

    Turn stove off. Allow water to cool until lukewarm.

  7. Step 7

    Wipe dirt and grime off. It should come off easily.

  8. Step 8

    Repeat if necessary for any stubborn stains.

Tips & Warnings
  • Pour a small portion of the hot soda water on the stove itself in any areas that have stuborn stains. Let sit until cool. Wipe with wash rag.
