How to Add a Clip Art Image in Microsoft Word
Clip art refers to pre-made graphics images. Such images can add pizzazz to a document. Microsoft Word includes an option for adding clip art when you want to jazz up a file or complement your writing. Word can check its collection of included clip art and also gives you the option of checking Office Online.

Position the cursor where you want to insert the clip art.

Click the "Insert" tab.

Click "Clip Art" in the Illustrations grouping.

Type the topic for which you want clip art in the Search For box. Check "Include Office.com content" if you want to search there. If not, click the drop-down arrow in the Results Should Be box and check "Illustrations, Photographs, Videos, or Audio." Checking Office.com content can take longer than limiting the search.

Click the "Go" button.

Click to select the clip art you want to use in the list of results.

Tips & Warnings
You can adjust the size of the clip art after inserting it in Word by clicking it and dragging and corner.
