Sometimes, the factory settings for the page layout is not compatible with your needs. They can easily be changed, just follow these easy steps.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Begin by opening Microsoft Word

  2. Step 2

    From the menu bar, click on FILE.

  3. Step 3

    From the drop down box, Click on PAGE LAYOUT or PAGE SETUP.

  4. Step 4

    You can now change the left and right margins as well as the header and footer margins. You can also change from portrait 8.5" x 11" to landscape 11" x 8.5".

Tips & Warnings
  • You may want to save a copy of your article before modifying the page setup.
