How to make spaghetti al tonno aka tuna pasta

Tuna and anchovies go great to make a delicious pasta meal that anyone can enjoy. Serves 4.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 ounce can anchovies, drained
  • 1 pound dried spaghetti
  • 7 ounce can tuna, drained
  • 1 1/4 cups olive oil
  • 5/8 cup creme fraiche
  • 1 1/4 cup chopped parsley (or to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • Black olives
  1. Step 1

    Remove bones from the tuna and anchovies if there are any. Process with 1 cup olive oil and parsley.

  2. Step 2

    Continue to blend as you add the creme fraiche.

  3. Step 3

    Boil a large pan of salted water and add spaghetti and add remaining olive oil. Cook until tender but firm.

  4. Step 4

    Drain the spaghetti, return to saucepan, and place over medium heat. Add the butter and toss to coat. Spoon in and toss the sauce.

  5. Step 5

    Remove the pan from the heat and divide the spaghetti between 4 plates. Garnish with olives.
