Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Fresh Mint
  • Fresh Lime
  • Sugar
  • Club Soda
  • Ice
  • White/Light Rum
  • Small Masher
  • Tall Glass
  1. Step 1

In your tall glass add 12 mint leafs

  2. Step 2

Cut 1 lime in half and set aside.
With remaining half of lime cut into four wedge, and add to the glass.

  3. Step 3

Add 4tsp of white granulated sugar

  4. Step 4

With your masher you are going to stomp on the mint and limes. The sugar will begin to dissolve in this process. Be sure to really bruise the fresh mint as this will allow the oils to escape.

  5. Step 5

Now add 1 1/2 ounces of white/light Rum.

  6. Step 6

    Add Ice Cubes

  7. Step 7

Top of glass with club soda.

  8. Step 8

    Mix

Garnish with a lime wheel and a mint leaf.
