Hummus is a delicious dip for flatbread and baked breads. Here's how to make a simple one.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans or chickpeas dried and drained
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Crackers
  • 1 tablespoon pesto sauce
  1. Step 1

    In a blender or food processor, blend everything except the crackers.

  2. Step 2

    Once blended to a thick liquid consistency, transfer to bowl.

  3. Step 3

    Serve as appetizer or refrigerate.

  4. Step 4

    Note that you use olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, and tahini to increase the flavor of the hummus.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can serve with flatbread or garlic bread, or etc.
