How to clean copper with household items

Have you ever found yourself cleaning copper pots and found that you ran out of cleaner? There is no need to work. This solution is quick and simple and only costs a couple of cents.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Salt
  • Lemon

Step1
Take about a pinch full of salt (or more depending on the size of the item) and sprinkle it over the item.
Step2
Take a lemon and cut it in half.
Step3
The lemon half will act as the sponge/ scrubber. Massage the salt all over the copper with the underside of the lemon. Results can be seen immediately
Step4
Rinse off the salt and lemon with cold water.
