SHAVE YOUR LEGS WITHOUT A RASH
SHAVE YOUR LEGS WITHOUT A RASH

Now you can shave your legs without razor burn or shaving rash. This article is great for teens just learning how to shave also!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • shaving cream
  • a razor with a new blade
  • a towel
  • aloe vera gel or a natural lotion
  1. Step 1

Soak your legs in warm to hot water, preferably in the bathtub. You can also soak in the shower. Do this for about 10 minutes to soften the skin and to prepare your legs for shaving. Apply the shaving cream to your legs, one leg at a time.

  2. Step 2

Start shaving your legs using long, even strokes. Try to avoid jagged, short strokes as this could lead to razor rash. Do not press down, gentle pressure will do. Too much pressure can cause you to nick yourself. Make sure to shave your legs AGAINST the grain, which means shave them the opposite direction of the hairs natural growth. This is alright to do with the legs, but not any other part of your body. Shaving your legs against the grain will give you the nice, smooth skin.

  3. Step 3

When you are finished with both legs, rinse off, dry off, and apply the Aloe Vera gel or a natural lotion to your shaved areas. This will further prevent any shaving rash.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep all shaving creams and razors out of the reach of children at all times!
