How to make grilled chicken marsala

This great chicken dinner serves 4 and has 470 calories per serving.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 cups marsala
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 boneless and skinless checiken breasts
  • 2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 3/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Rosemary sprigs
  • Cooking spray (preferably vegetable oil)
  • 2 thinly sliced shallots
  • 4 tablespoons light cream
  • 8 dried porcini mushrooms
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  1. Step 1

    Mix fennel seeds, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a bowl. Then sprinkle the spice mix over chicken breasts and set aside.

  2. Step 2

    Bring marsala to a low boil in a pan. Add in mushrooms, shallots, and garlic. Add salt and pepper. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Set aside.

  3. Step 3

    Coat grill with vegetable oil or vegetable oil spray and grill each chicken breast until fully cooked (4-6 minutes each side).

  4. Step 4

    Reheat sauce on stove and whisk in cream. Serve chicken topped with sauce and fresh rosemary.

Tips & Warnings
  • Serves 4.
  • Serve with grilled vegetables such as sweet peppers and carrots.
