Things You'll Need:
- a razor with a new blade
- shaving cream
- warm to hot water
- a towel
- Aloe Vera Gel or a natural lotion

Step 1
Soak in a warm to hot bathtub, or in the shower, for a good 10 minutes. This will soften the skin and make your skin less likely to be irritated while shaving. Apply shaving cream ONLY to the area you will be shaving.

Step 2
Shave your bikini area WITH the grain, that means shave the area in the direction that the hairs grow naturally. This is the key to preventing the bumps.

Step 3
After you are finished, rinse, dry off with your towel, and apply the Aloe Vera gel to the shaved areas. This will help prevent shaving rash.
