Here is how to reset that annoying Change Oil light on a 1996 - 2000 Chevrolet Lumina

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

1. To reset the change oil light turn the ignition switch to "Run" without starting the engine.
2. Fully depress and release the accelerator pedal three times within five seconds and the light will be reset.
3. Wait a few seconds, then Turn the ignition switch off and then back on and start the car. The light should not come on. If it has not been reset repeat the procedure. It may take a couple of tries.
