1. The first step is to buy the ingredients for your salad. You will need lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, black olives, green peppers, carrots and your favorite salad dressing.

2. The second step is to wash the lettuce and dry it with a paper towel. Keep the lettuce separate and by itself. Chop all the other items and store them in small tupperware containers.
