How to Add a Friend on Ehow when the Friends Button is Missing

You are a member of ehow and have just finished a fantastic article. Yet, when you go to send a friend request to the author, the "Add Friends" button isn't there! You know it's not a staff writer; you see a profile and other friends. You check your friends list to make sure this person is not already a friend. He or she isn't. What can you do now?

on 7/31/2008 Great info, now if we could just figure out how to send mail to them. After viewing some in the forum some say they are a regular ehow member like everyone else and have no clue why they are having problems. Some even say they are having problems publishing. So who knows. Great article. 5 stars.

on 7/30/2008 They can get a job with Demand Media after having been a 'regular' author on eHow as well so they would have friends listed and then no add friends button at that point in time. But either way, your system works.
