Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
1. The first step is to let your child read a lot of books. The more you child reads the more they will learn about different subjects. You will start to notice that he or she is strong in certain areas. Once you know the strong areas you can push them in that direction.
Step2
2. The second step is to let you child know that you support their interests. If they know that you are going to support them in a certain activity then their skills, knowledge and abilities will come out. Tiger Woods is a golf genius, but his father brought out the gift through his support.
Step3
3. The third step is to do research in the area that your child excels in. The more you know about what you child is excelling in the more you can encourage, support and lead. You can also ask other parents how they have supported their children in academics, sports and the arts.
